Education & Expertise
Dr. Dudas was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania. He attended the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania and graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors in Biology and Spanish. He attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh and during that time, also completed a National Institutes of Health (NIH) research fellowship studying the use of stem cells in Plastic Surgery.
His research has been extensively published in medical and scientific journals. Dr. Dudas completed his Plastic Surgery residency at Washington University in St. Louis, where he was trained in all areas of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breast, and body. He then relocated to San Francisco to complete a Facial Plastic Surgery fellowship sponsored by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
During this time, he also held a Clinical Instructor position at the University of California San Francisco, teaching the art and science of Plastic Surgery to new surgeons in training. Additionally, before joining Dr. Lisa J. Learn’s Fort Lauderdale practice, Dr. Dudas was personally trained by Dr. Sheldon Kabaker, who is internationally recognized for hair transplant and hairline lowering. Dr. Dudas has performed more joint surgeries with Dr. Kabaker than any other surgeon in the world.
